Materials and Technique

Each piece begins in the form of environmentally friendly recycled sheet or wire. In my studio I use low-tech tools such as hammers, pliers, files, saws, torches and my hands, utilizing the traditional fabrication techniques of sawing, forging, forming, soldering and polishing to transform the materials into a finished piece of wearable art. I sketch minimally, instead working directly in the metal, beginning with an idea, a few simple lines and curves, building, adding elements, and playing with the metal until it is worked into a final form.

My jewelry is handcrafted one piece at a time or in limited series, resulting in designs in which no two are exactly alike.

I enjoy custom design projects as well as tailoring my designs, creating modifications and crafting the metal to suit the individual.

Craftsmanship is always guaranteed. If ever a repair is necessary, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Please contact me for information on any of the jewelry shown, check out my gallery of previous custom projects, and talk to me about a custom designed piece made just for you or your loved one.
